Through contributions of time, resources, and equipment, we’re making a positive impact, from sponsoring trailers for each organization to volunteering on a recent Habitat build site. Making a Real Impact with Local Sponsorships
When we decided to focus on community project sponsorships, our goal was simple: to give back in ways that genuinely make a difference. We contacted Haymaker Farmers Market and Habitat for Humanity to ask about their needs. An enclosed trailer was a top priority on both organizations' wish lists, so we were thrilled to make this happen!
Each trailer is designed to support each organization’s daily operations. Habitat for Humanity uses its trailer as a tool and equipment carrier, while Haymaker uses theirs to transport vendor booths, tables, and supplies, helping to bring our local farmers and artisans together each week!
Supporting Habitat for Humanity’s Mission
In addition to providing a trailer, our team at Coia Sales recently got involved hands-on, supporting a Habitat for Humanity of Portage County project. On October 18th, 2024, our crew donated time and equipment to help clear a wooded lot for a new home build. This collaboration provided Habitat with resources to kickstart the build process, reduce costs, and help meet its goal of providing a safe, decent, and affordable family home.
Seeing our equipment in action was inspiring, not just in a commercial setting but in a way that makes a real difference. Partnering with Habitat aligns with our values of hard work, community building, and creating a brighter future.
Partnering with Haymaker Farmers Market
Haymaker Farmers Market has been a staple in our community, bringing local farmers and vendors together weekly. Many of these vendors use our equipment to grow and harvest their products, making this partnership especially close to our hearts—a full-circle moment.
The trailer we donated will help Haymaker streamline its setup, support its popular vendor events, and further its mission to connect producers of local foods to the community. Looking ahead, we’re exploring additional support for their "Power of Produce" Kids Club in 2025, which teaches kids about agriculture and sustainability. We’re excited to continue our shared commitment to the community and local farming.
